Founded in August 1965 by Vita and Dorothy Koreschoff, the Bonsai Society of Australia, Inc. is one the first Australian bonsai societies.

Meetings are held at the West Pennant Hills Community Centre, 42 Hill Rd, West Pennant Hills.

The Bonsai Society of Australia meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 (except January)

Our meetings, as well as providing much information, are friendly and informal. Our lecturers and demonstrators are qualified and their work is of seminar quality. We also encourage up and coming demonstrators and there is a bench display of our members trees each month.

The club holds a free hands-on workshop for members on the third Tuesday of each month at the same venue.

As a non-profit association, our purpose is to promote knowledge of, and interest in bonsai and to serve as a national focal point for bonsai fanciers.

We publish a monthly Bonsai Newsletter, and provide a variety of educational and support services to the bonsai community.

Committee of the Bonsai Society of Australia Inc are unpaid volunteers who are dedicated to spreading the word about this wonderful, satisfying and challenging hobby.

We support AABC and BFA and other local, regional, and international groups. We take pride in our commitment to grow these partnerships. Our members are committed to improving and developing talent. We hope to help you develop your skills.
